Terms of Service

Welcome to EMBRACE All Latino Voices ("EMBRACE," "we," "us"), a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit. These Terms govern your interactions with our website, programs, and services.

Eligibility
EMBRACE programs serve Latino and Spanish-speaking communities in Charlotte, Durham, and Raleigh (NC) and Goose Creek (SC). Specific programs may have additional eligibility criteria, communicated at the time of enrollment.

Personal Notifications Program (SMS + push alerts)
- Program name: EMBRACE Personal Notifications
- Description: Internal staff automation system. Meeting alerts, task reminders, and operational notifications are sent from staff accounts to those staff members' own personal phones. The sender and recipient are the same individual (sole-operator model).
- Message frequency: approximately 5-15 messages per week per operator
- Message and data rates may apply (carrier-dependent)
- Support: text HELP to the source number, email embrace@embracecarolinas.org, or call (704) 369-4145
- To opt out: text STOP to the source number; messages will cease immediately

Volunteer participation
Volunteers are bound by EMBRACE's volunteer code of conduct, communicated at orientation. EMBRACE may decline or end volunteer participation at any time at its discretion.

Memberships and donations
Memberships are processed via Zeffy and are subject to Zeffy's terms. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by US law. EMBRACE All Latino Voices is a registered 501(c)(3); EIN available on request.

Limitations
EMBRACE provides community programs and navigation support, NOT licensed medical, legal, or financial advice. We connect community members with appropriate professional resources where available, but we do not warrant outcomes.

Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the most recent revision.
