The responsibilities of a Social Navigator cover several important activities, all designed to offer vital support to people in need.

• Client Support and Case Management

One primary duty involves assessing client needs. For instance, if a family requires help finding affordable housing, the Social Navigator provides tailored referrals to local shelters and housing programs. Additionally, following up with clients ensures they receive the right services, significantly boosting their quality of life. Work Schedule, Work-Life Balance, and Pay expectation

The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays for key community events. This setup not only allows for professional development but also helps maintain a healthy work-life balance.

If you have no experience, EMBRACE starting pay is $14/hour for this role. If you are a certified Community Health Worker in the state of North Carolina with no experience, the starting pay is $16 per hour. If you have a CHW certification and more than 3 years of experience OR if you have any bachelors/graduate school diplomas in related areas, we will be glad to discuss a pay rate that meets your qualifications and experience.
